YOU BRING THE IDEA. WE EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES.
Become
the Game.

Enquiry privacy notice
Who is responsible: Jamie Green, trading as JLG Games, is the data controller. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email [email protected]. Notice version: 17 October 2026.
What we collect and why
We collect your name, email, chosen option, description, optional art style, permission confirmation and privacy acknowledgement, together with the time and reference of your enquiry. We use these to review your idea and reply about feasibility, scope and possible costs. Providing these details is optional, but the required fields are needed to respond. Please keep your description brief and avoid sensitive information, photographs, image links, or identifying details about children.
For requests for a possible commission, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract. For general creative enquiries or enquiries made on someone else’s behalf, it is our legitimate interest in responding to relevant requests. Protecting the form from abuse is also a legitimate interest. The privacy checkbox acknowledges this notice; it does not sign you up to marketing or grant permission to publish a likeness.
Who can access your enquiry
Enquiries are held in a private Cloudflare D1 database accessible to the authorised JLG Games operator through the protected hosting account. Cloudflare provides hosting, storage and Turnstile spam protection. Turnstile receives technical browser and network information; it loads only when you choose to enable the form. We store keyed, non-readable identifiers derived from your IP address and email for rate limiting, rather than raw IP addresses in the enquiry database. These identifiers expire within 24 hours and are removed by daily maintenance.
If we reply by email, the correspondence is processed through our Gmail account and your email provider. Cloudflare and Google may process data outside the UK under their applicable contractual safeguards, including UK transfer terms where required. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy. We do not sell enquiries, add them to a mailing list, or make them public. We do not use automated decisions to decide whether to take on a project.
How long we keep it
The initial form record is scheduled for automatic deletion 90 days after submission (daily maintenance may take up to a further 24 hours). If we correspond by email, we keep the enquiry correspondence for up to six months after the last contact, then delete it unless we agree a project or need to retain specific records for a legal claim or obligation. If a project goes ahead, we will explain the separate project records and retention terms before work starts. Deleted database data may remain in Cloudflare recovery backups for up to 30 days; provider security logs follow the provider’s retention policies.
Your likeness and children
Sending an enquiry is not permission to publish your name, photographs or character likeness. We will agree the necessary permissions, intended uses and any publication separately before using identifiable material. Please do not send photographs at this stage. This form is for adults aged 18 or over. For an idea involving a child, a parent or guardian must make or be involved in the enquiry, and we must confirm suitable parent or guardian authority before accepting or using any identifiable images. Keep the child anonymous in this first message.
Your choices and rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction, and object where we rely on legitimate interests. Portability may apply where the legal conditions are met. If a later use relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful use. Email us using the address above; we may ask for proportionate confirmation of identity. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Contacting us first does not remove that right.
